Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka started for England as they fell to a shock 2-1 defeat to Greece in a UEFA Nations League clash.
A brace from Vangelis Pavlidis sandwiched between a strike from Jude Bellingham gave the away side a famous win at the Wembley Stadium as Lee Carsley’s side were made to pay for their lackluster showing.
Saka started in attack alongside Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, Anthony Gordon and Bellingham, who was stationed as a false nine by the interim England boss.
And the Arsenal man endured a night to forget as he limped off in the second half with a suspected hamstring injury.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka endures night to forget for England

Saka was substituted in the 52nd minute for Chelsea’s Noni Madueke after an uninspiring performance for the Three Lions.
His misery was compounded as he was seen clutching his hamstring in discomfort, which led to his eventual withdrawal.
Metro rated his performance 4/10, saying: “Had just one shot in goal before coming off with an injury in the second half. Found it hard to have an influence on the game with so many other attacking players on the pitch.”
The Guardian was a bit kinder with their assessment of Saka as they rated him 5/10, although they acknowledged that he could not get the better of Greece’s backline.

“Unable to get into the game and run at Dimitris Giannoulis. Arsenal fans will be fretting about their winger limping off.
And finally, the Daily Mail gave him a rating of 4.5 as he failed to do anything of note in what turned out to be a torrid outing for the Three Lions.
“Forced off with injury early in second half. But had seen very little of the ball and did nothing with it. Was also booked for cynically stopping counter.”
His substitution looked more like a precaution, but Arsenal fans will be sweating over his fitness as he is virtually irreplaceable for the club.
